What is the difference of the two online classes?
All topics on Chemistry Olympiad exams will be covered by both classes.
Chemistry Olympiad Class will build a strong foundation in the knowledge and understanding of chemistry. It will significantly benefit all students from 7th to 12th grade.
Advance Chemistry Olympiad Class is designed for the students who have a desire to participate in competitions. Students will be mentored to improve their competition skills in chemistry. This class is more comprehensive and in-depth than the other one.
When is the best time to start the Chemistry Olympiad Classes?
For each student, this may vary. Whenever students feel that they are ready to proactively learn about chemistry, they are welcome to begin taking Professor Jianping Huang's classes.
Recommended grades for the classes are follows:
Chemistry Olympiad Class: 7th - 10th grades
Advanced Chemistry Olympiad Class: 9th - 12th grades
How to makeup the missed online classes?
If a student has conflicts and could not attend the scheduled online class, no problem. We record every class. Just send an email to jph.chemistryolympiad@gmail.com and specify which class you missed. We will send you the link to that class and you can makeup at your convenient time.
Is a student allowed to drop off the class in the middle?
Yes, of course. Students can drop off the online classes anytime. Any paid non taken classes will be 100% refunded.
How long is each class?
Class Length: 2 hours/class
How to pay the classes?
Classes cost $21.5 / hour. The tuition is $43/class.
Tuition will be collected every 10 classes. Payment must be received by the due date. A reminder will be sent by email prior to the payment due date.
If payment is not received on time, we consider the student withdrew from the class.
The payment can be sent by checks or ZellePay.
