2024 JPH Chemistry Olympiad Class
Chemistry Olympiad Class is taught by the most successful Chemistry Olympiad tutor in the nation, Professor Jianping Huang. He designed this class based on his 30+years of chemistry teaching and Olympiad exam coaching experience. He will teach students without any chemistry background and help them to become the national top young chemists. The class covers all the materials required for Chemistry Olympiad Exams. In order to prepare students for various competitions, some selected topics will go as far and deep as college chemistry level. All lectures are based on Professor Jianping Huang’s personally-generated 2000+ pages of handouts and a college level chemistry textbook, “Chemical Principles, The Quest for Insight" by Peter Atkins and Loretta Jones.

Student Grade Level: 7th grade and above (with or without middle school chemistry background)
Previous chemistry knowledge is not required.

2024 JPH Chemistry Olympiad Advanced Class
Chemistry Olympiad Advanced Class is one of the most popular Chemistry Olympiad classes in the nation taught by the most successful Chemistry Olympiad tutor, Professor Jianping Huang. Based on his 30+years of chemistry teaching and Olympiad exam coaching experience, Professor Jianping Huang designed this class to boost students’ performance at the state, national (USNCO), and international Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) exams as well as the US National Chemistry Tournament at Washington University in St. Louis (WUCT). It will cover all USNCO-level and above topics and use them as a launching point for problem solving strategies for more advanced chemistry. Students can determine if their previous chemistry experience has prepared them for this class by taking our evaluation test.

2024 JPH AP Chemistry Class
AP Chemistry is an introductory college-level course offered in high schools that often poses a significant challenge for students. In response to the expressed needs of both parents and students, Professor Jianping Huang has meticulously designed an enrichment class aimed at comprehensively covering all topics within the AP Chemistry curriculum. The primary objective of this class is to empower students with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve a perfect score on the College Board's AP Chemistry exam.
Requirements: Completed Honors Chemistry, or equivalent

2024 JPH Weekly Organic Chemistry Class
Organic chemistry is a subdiscipline of chemistry that studies the structure, properties and reactions of organic compounds. It is a main section of chemistry. In order to build students’ solid organic chemistry foundation for Chemistry Olympiad and their future study in college, Professor Jianping Huang teaches Organic Chemistry in 25 lessons, 2.5 hours per lesson. All lectures are based on Professor Jianping Huang’s personally-generated handouts.

2024 JPH Summer Organic Chemistry Camp
Professor Jianping Huang teaches the same Organic Chemistry as the “ JPH Weekly Organic Chemistry Class” in a fast pace during the Summer Organic Chemistry Camp , 2.5 hours per lesson. All lectures are based on Professor Jianping Huang’s personally-generated handouts.

2024 JPH IChO/Camp Preparative Organic Chemistry Class
The JPH IChO and USNCO Camp Preparative Class is designed and taught by Professor Jianping Huang to empower students to master advanced organic chemistry at both the USNCO camp and IChO levels, bridging the gap between students’ organic chemistry knowledge and their problem-solving abilities at the USNCO camp and IChO levels. In the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO), 40% of the theoretical problems and 60% of the practical problems involve organic chemistry. The US Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO) study camp also places a strong emphasis on organic chemistry when selecting IChO team members. Organic Chemistry has been the most challenging aspect that students face when attending the USNCO camp and preparing for IChO exams. The JPH IChO and USNCO Camp Preparative Class is systematically structured and tailored for students who are working towards an outstanding performance at the USNCO study camp and IChO. Furthermore, the curriculum includes a comprehensive study of sixteen sets of IChO problems.

JPH Chemistry Olympiad Advanced Organic Class (FREE)
In order to enrich students’ organic chemistry and better prepare students for the USNCO Exams, USNCO study camp and International Chemistry Olympiad, starting in September every year, Professor Jianping Huang offers one additional 2-hour class each month to all his students until before the USNCO in next April,. The classes are FREE.. The classes will be mostly focused on the advanced organic chemistry based on Professor Huang’s 30+ years of experience in coaching students for the International Chemistry Olympiad, and his experience in academia, biotech and pharmaceutical industry. He will extend these approaches to solve the challenging chemistry problems.

Professor Jianping Huang offers free Chemistry Olympiad Decoding Class to all his students before and during the USNCO exam season each year. During these classes, he decodes the questions in details. The questions are directly from students when they have the difficulties during USNCO preparation, including the previous local and national USNCO exam problems. The goal is to enrich students’ problem-solving skills in chemistry, and thus boost students’ performance in local and national USNCO exams.

Professor Jianping Huang offers multiple free training sessions to the participants of the Washington University Chemistry Tournament (WUCT) prior to the competition every year. He prepares in-depth training problems and lectures them in classes. The goal is to enrich students’ problem-solving skills in chemistry, and thus boost students’ performance in WUCT, the national chemistry tournament.
The classes are FREE for all WUCT participants.

JPH Pre USNCO Study Camp Training (FREE)

Professor Jianping Huang offers multiple free training sessions to the USNCO study camp qualifiers every year. He uses International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) Preparatory Problems as the starting points to enrich the students’ problem-solving skill at the international competition level. The goal is to help the students with their upcoming intensive study camp training, exams and evaluations and making the US IChO team.
The classes are FREE for all Professor Huang’s students.
